Toys go Underground
The new toys launched to tie-in with Disney/Pixar's film animation WALL-E attracted plenty of attention from tourists and commuters when they explored the Capital by Tube earlier this week.
BBC's night on the buses
Saturday is bus night on BBC Four.
London's iconic red buses are paid tribute in an evening of programmes.
The night kicks-off with a classic episode of the 70's British sitcom, Sykes, at 20:00.
In the episode circa 1973, hapless stars Eric Sykes and Hattie Jacques attempt to run a double-decker bus as if it were an airline.
Other highlights from the evening include a chance to see the bus conductors' documentary 'Little Platform, Big Stage'; a journey from Camden Town to Chelsea in 'To the World's End', and the opportunity to join workers from Putney bus garage on a day trip to Alton Towers in 'A Day off The Buses.'
