Transport for London

Are you up to the cycle challenge?

19 May 2008

Transport for London is encouraging organisations throughout the Capital to get as many staff as possible to take to two wheels by signing up to the 2008 Workplace Cycle Challenge.

The fun, free competition challenges organisations to compete against each other and see who can get the most people cycling to work.

Taking place from 1-30 June, it's a fun way to give cycling a go, win some great prizes and create a happier, healthier workplace.

Once you've signed up, you'll be able to log trips and chart your progress online.

There are different prizes up for grabs and you could even win £150 worth of cycle shop vouchers just for registering and filling in the questionnaire.

So why not challenge your colleagues to give it a go?

You can enter by logging on to tfl.gov.uk/cyclechallenge

Mountain bike giveaway

As you gently stroll through spring, why not think about cycling into summer by entering our competition to win a £300 mountain bike.

Transport for London's Journey Planner service has teamed up with Evans Cycles to offer one lucky person a Pinnacle Stratus bike.

To enter the competition, visit tfl.gov.uk, click on 'Win a bike' and answer the two questions.

The competition closes on 5 June.

The winner will be notified by email within three weeks of the closing date.
