Transport for London

Junior Safety and Citizenship scheme

14 May 2008

The TfL Safety and Citizenship scheme is run by London Transport Museum.

It provides a free transport education service to all schools within Greater London to promote safety
and responsible travel on and around the capital's transport system.

The service, led by trained school liaison officers, helps prepare 10 and 11-year-olds
for independent travel before they move to secondary school.

For more information and to register your interest in the scheme on behalf of your child's school, visit tfl.gov.uk and search for safety and citizenship. For more information about London's transport history, visit the London Transport Museum
