West Finchley refurbishment

West Finchley station is about to undergo a transformation when improvement works begin at the end of May.

Safety and security are on the agenda with new digital CCTV cameras and Help and information points.

Tactile strips will be fitted on the top and bottom of stairs, plus colour contrasting handrails to aid visually impaired passengers.

There will also be improved signage, a new public address system and information boards.

The station will be closed over the following weekends to allow work to take place: 31 May/1 June; 7/8, 14/15 and 21/22 June; 30/31 August.

At these times the ticket office will be closed; passengers without a valid ticket are asked to use the local Oyster stop.

Valid tickets will be accepted on local buses 326, 82, 460, 125, N13 and N20.
