21 January 2010

Freedom Pass reminder

ALL Freedom Pass holders must renew their passes as soon as possible before they expire on March 31.

New passes take around ten days to arrive by post.

New Freedom Passes are issued as a combined Oyster  and photocard.

However, there is no change to where and when the pass can be used.

To renew, or apply for the first time, visit your local Post Office.

People living in Camden, Sutton, Barking or Dagenham must contact their local council.

Freedom Passes allow older and eligible disabled people who live in a London borough to travel free on the public transport network.

If you have any queries about the Freedom Pass, visit www.freedompass.org, telephone 0845 275 7054/ 020 7934 9633 or email mobility@londoncouncils.gov.uk
