Chancery Lane update

FROM Sunday, Chancery Lane station will be exit only on weekdays between 7.30am and 10am.

This is to enable escalator work to be carried out and will continue until the end of December.

Passengers should use nearby Holborn station instead, which isapproximately a six-minute walk away.

Alternatively, take buses 8, 25, 242 or 521 (departing from Stop F at Chancery Lane station) to Holborn.

Where are you going?

IF you're planning to travel by Tube next month, you may well be handed a questionnaire to fill in while on your journey.

If you do, it'll be your opportunity to help further improve the services on offer.

The annual London Underground (LU) 'origin and destination' survey is a vital way of finding out more about passengers and their journeys.

The information received is instrumental in helping LU to plan for the future; including planning train services, station delivery, modernisations and upgrades, plus cross-modal transport interchanges.

Questionnaires will be handed out at some of the capital's busiest Tube stations between 7am and midnight, asking passengers about the trip they are making including time and location, different modes of transport involved, purpose of the journey and the ticket used.

The questionnaire takes around five minutes to complete and can be returned via freepost.

Tickets at Aldgate East

THE West End ticket office at Aldgate East station will close on Sunday for six weeks.

The ticket machines will remain available.

The closure, which will remain in place until December 14, is to enable modernisation works to take place.
