Transport for LondonImprovements to Archway station
FROM Monday, Archway station will close at 10pm and trains will not stop, Sunday to Thursday evenings.
This will remain in place until the end of May next year to enable modernisation work to be carried out. The station will operate as normal between December 24 and January 2.
Passengers are advised to use local buses to/from nearby stations. Tickets will be accepted on the following bus routes (to/from Tufnell Park and Highgate): 43, 134, 263, 390 and N20.
The station will also be closed during the following weekends in November: 7-8, 14-15, 21-22 and 28-29, with further planned weekend closures until March 2010.
When work is complete, benefits will include: an improved public address system, new information display boards, and additional features to help deaf and visually impaired passengers.
