Celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights
Diwali, the festival of lights, is the third day of a five-day celebration that marks the Hindu New Year, which takes place between the new and full moons of October and November.
Planned closures on the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines will mean Underground passengers travelling to the celebrations will need to use the Bakerloo line or London Overground services to Stonebridge Park station, where a special shuttle bus service will be in place to, and from, the temple.
On Saturday, this bus service will begin at 3pm and will run every 10 minutes, increasing to every eight minutes after 5.30pm.
Enhanced service
The service will be suspended for the duration of the fireworks and will then run again every eight minutes until 11pm. On Sunday, the service will begin at 10am and will run every 10 minutes until 4pm, then every 15 minutes until 10pm.
The following replacement buses will also run:

- Harrow-on-the-Hill - Stonebridge Park/Baker Street (very early and late only, to make first and last connections)
