Travelling just got easier at Euston
Situated opposite platform 10, passengers using buses, Tube and National Rail services can now go into the new, fully-accessible centre and get advice on the best way to travel around the capital, or find information to help them with their onward journey.
In recent years, the old temporary structure opposite platform eight had become outdated and was too small to meet growing demand with only two customer service windows.
Richard Smith, a customer who uses the new Travel Information Centre, said: 'The new centre is much nicer as you can just walk in and talk to staff to find out about the transport and visitor information you need, plus the staff are really friendly and helpful.
'It's a great way to get information.'
Transport for London's Travel Information Centres are a one-stop shop for information about transport services in London.
They also sell tickets to many of the capital's top venues including Madame Tussauds, The Tower of London and more.
Did you know?
There are six Travel Information Centres across London, open 7 days a week, from 9am to 9pm, at Liverpool Street Tube, Euston mainline, Victoria mainline and Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3 Tube. The centre at Piccadilly Circus Tube is open from 9.15am to 7pm, 7 days a week, and the centre at Camden Town Hall is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- The first centre opened in 1940 to help people get around London in the Blitz, as most station signs outside central London had been removed and bus, Tube and rail services were restricted. These Travel Information Centres were easy to assemble so could be moved to locations where they were most needed
- Today, the centres handle: ticket sales; Congestion Charge payments; information and booking services to Heathrow and Gatwick Airport; fast-track tickets to some of the city's most popular tourist attractions;
booking and advice on rail and coach tours to Britain, Paris, Brussels and Bruge; as well as advice on access requirements
