Walk your cares away
This weekend, the 'Autumn Ambles' event takes place with guided walks across London.
The walks are designed to avoid traffic, where possible, and cover some of the capital's best attractions, parks, woodlands, rivers and open spaces.
Walking is one of the easiest ways to get fit and see the city at the same time.
There are more than 40 walks on London's 350 miles of Strategic Walk Network.
And, with three years to go until the 2012 Games, Autumn Ambles offers a special focus on east London and the routes that will lead in to the Olympic Park.
Look out for the ninewalks flagged as 'Walking towards the Games'.
The weekend is organised by Walk London and funded by Transport for London.
All walks are led by experienced guides and some will be joined by local history and wildlife experts.
All start and finish within easy reach of public transport, and a free colour guide will be handed out along with a pin badge of the route logo.
