Transport for London

Zone 1 suspension

25 August 2009

SERVICES on the Bakerloo line, within Zone 1, will be suspended between Thursday and Sunday for vital maintenance work.

There will be no service between Paddington and Elephant & Castle stations during this time.

For more information see the leaflets available at Bakerloo line stations.

Between Thursday and Saturday, passengers travelling into central London should use London Overground services into Euston.

On Sunday, London Midland services will operate between Wembley Central and Euston.

Valid Tube tickets will be accepted to/from Euston. Passengers who normally use National Rail services into Paddington station should change at Ealing Broadway for the Central line.

Pick up a 'Notting Hill Carnival' leaflet, available at Tube stations, for more information about traveling on Sunday.

The nearest Bakerloo line stations to the Carnival route are Kensal Green and Queen's Park.
