Arguably the main event in the British cycling calendar, it sees some of the world's top cyclists compete on UK roads for the right to wear the yellow jersey.
The tour will take place over eight days beginning in North Lincolnshire on Saturday, September 12 and finishing in the heart of London on Saturday, September 19.
The final London stage of the event will see 96 of the world's top cyclists once again take on the challenge with a spectacular day of racing as riders tackle the iconic London circuit that opened last year's race - taking in the Houses of Parliament and The Tower of London, with the start and finish on Victoria Embankment, opposite Victoria Embankment Gardens.

Where does the Tour of Britain begin?
The winner of the competition will receive VIP hospitality tickets for four people for the final London stage; the VIP package will include:
- Event wallet containing itinerary, all relevant information and VIP passes as well as race programme and promotional items
- Early access to the Tour of Britain Hospitality Village
- VIP access to the teams' compounds and designated VIP-only race viewing area
- Buffet luncheon with accompanying wines
