Moquette-inspired goodies on sale

24 August 2009

IF you're planning a trip to Upminster Depot for its 50th anniversary open weekend (August 29-30) don't miss the opportunity to pick up some of the unique merchandise which will be on sale.

New District line seating fabric (moquette) has been adapted for use on doorstops, glasses cases, wallets and Travelcard holders by accessory designer, Matt Fothergill.

There will also be depot-themed T-shirts, mugs and mousemats.

A limited edition London Underground Map featuring the weekend's special bus service extension to the Depot will also be on sale. Only 500 copies of this map have been printed and are priced at £9.95.

A small quantity will also be available to buy at www.ltmuseum.co.uk/ from August 30 for a limited time.
