TfL subsidiaries
We have three subsidiaries: London Transport Insurance Guernsey Ltd, the TfL Pension Fund Trustee Company and Transport Trading Ltd.
Transport Trading Ltd (TTL) has six wholly-owned subsidiaries and one joint-venture company:
- London Underground Ltd
- London Bus Services Ltd (LBSL)
- London Buses Ltd
- London River Services Ltd
- Tramtrack Croydon Ltd
- Tramtrack Leasing Ltd
- Tramtrack Lease Financing Ltd
- Victoria Coach Station Ltd
- Docklands Light Railway Ltd
- Cross London Rail Links
(a joint venture between TTL and the SRA Investment Company Ltd)
In addition, LBSL has one wholly-owned subsidiary, London Dial-a-Ride Ltd, and one joint-venture company, UK Tram Ltd (a joint venture with the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK, the Light Rapid Transit Forum and PTEG Ltd).
The activities carried out by LBSL, London Buses, London River Services and Victoria Coach Station are overseen by TfL's Surface Transport directorate, which also has responsibility for Street Management, the Public Carriage Office and the Transport Policing Enforcement Directorate.
