We will send you a renewal form before your licence expires. You can also get one from our office or use the Post Office check and send service.
If you don't renew your current licence before it expires you won't be able to work and your hire and reward insurance will be invalid.
What to send with your renewal
Return your renewal form to us with:
- Two passport-sized photographs
- Your current Driver Licensing and Vehicle Agency licence (for photocard licences the paper copy must also be attached)
- Your current taxi driver's licence (the copy and original)
- Payment of £285
- A completed enhanced Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure application form
Your new licence
If you have completed your forms correctly and sent us the licence fee payment, we will send you a new licence.
If there are any problems we will contact you immediately.
Not renewing your licence
If you don't want to renew your licence, you must return both licences (original and copy) and your badge to us immediately after the expiry date.
