We will send you a renewal form about four weeks before your current licence expires. Alternatively you can get one from our offices or use the Post Office check and send service. It is your responsibility to ensure you renew your licence on time.

What to send with your renewal
Return your renewal form to us with:- Two passport sized photographs
- Current DVLA driving licence (for photocard licences the paper copy must also be attached)
- Current taxi driver licences (both copy and original)
- Payment of £285
- Completed Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure application form.
Your new licence
If you have completed your forms correctly and sent us the licence fee payment, we will send you a new licence in the post.
If there are any discrepancies we will contact you immediately
Not renewing your licence
If you don't want to renew your licence you must return both licences (original and copy) and your badge to us immediately after the expiry date.
