Transport for LondonCheck and send service
If you're a new taxi driver applicant you'll still have to visit the Public Carriage Office (PCO) to apply to do the Knowledge.
There is a handling charge of £7 for the check and send service. This includes:
- Ensuring that applications have been completed correctly
- Ensuring that all supporting documents and the correct payment have been included. (Original documents and clear photocopies are needed. Cheques are not accepted)
- Sending your application and other relevant documents directly to the PCO
- A receipt
Please note the cost of postage is not included. If there is a mistake or oversight by the Post Office, you may ask for a refund of the check and send charge.
