Guidance on the assessment of pedestrian guardrail
You can download our guidance document (PDF 2.0MB) on the assessment of pedestrian guardrail. This guidance is based on the experience of analysing and removing pedestrian guardrail (PGR) at around 150 junctions and 200 staggered crossings in central London.
The document aims to help design engineers make a decision by highlighting the key factors that should be taken into consideration.
