Improvement works

If you want any alterations to premises, we may ask you to hire an approved contractor to prepare a detailed plan. They may also need to carry out the work to meet Underground standards.

Read our guide to alterations and works (PDF 198KB) for more information.

Rental terms

Our usual rental terms are a three year agreement.

We are now introducing flexible lease terms. These will allow you to rent properties for shorter periods with lower start-up costs.

Charges

When the rent is agreed, you will need to pay us at least one month's rent in advance and one month's deposit.

Rental charges are between £60 and £120 per square metre, depending on the quality and location of the space.

If you are using a limited liability company as the tenant of premises, we will need a director to guarantee the rent.
