Schools and young people
These are aimed at young people, their families and teachers to promote safer, responsible travel. We also help young people learn about careers in the transport sector.
The programmes and resources highlighted here fit into the National Curriculum, and are available for use within schools and colleges, as well as at home.

TfL Youth Panel
Our Youth Panel was set up to get the views of young people on transport policy, youth initiatives and campaigns. Members are drawn from a number of youth organisations, including Platform 51, UK Youth, The Prince's Trust, The Children's Society, GLA Peer Outreach Workers and the British Youth Council.
The panel's activities include:
- Helping us shape our plans for young people
- Advocating for and helping to spread campaign messages to their peers on issues like Teen Road Safety, Zip It, Safer Travel at Night and Considerate Travel
- Taking part in engagement events and responding to the Mayor's Transport Strategy consultation
- Disabled members helping our Customer Research team with mystery shopping surveys
